SINON
Sinon is an all-encompassing, modular vehicle theft control, vehicle access control and traffic management system offering security solutions for public and private vehicle parking facilities and to law enforcement and road traffic agencies. The SINON family of products caters for parking control, image recording of the vehicle, driver, licence plate number and vehicle colour, automatic matching of entry events with exit events and the flagging of anomalies. In combination with Protoclea’s ARGUS integration software platform, SINON integrates seamlessly into a facility’s overall security system, control room display units and database.
APPLICATIONS
SINON is designed to achieve vehicle theft control by limiting the possibility of an unauthorised person driving a vehicle out of a secure area, employing technologies such as ANPR, facial recognition and automatic token issue and detection. The ANPR technology also applies to vehicle access control as a means of limiting access to pre-authorised vehicles and to traffic management for pinpointing the whereabouts of a stolen vehicle, for speed detection and the automatic creation of tickets. Typical users SINON products and solutions include airports, railway stations, shopping centres and other large public facilities, including sports stadiums, casinos, entertainment complexes and large hotels.
