ZENO: Threat Management System
Close-in Sensor & Weapon Threat Management System
It is designed as a stand-alone system and can combine sensing from different radar and optical sensing platforms and navigation information to designate effectors such as telephoto camera systems, spotlights, lethal and non-lethal weapons, and tracking radars.

Radar System Integration
Zeno has been integrated with several radar systems, including a scanning radar and a tracking radar system. Targets detected by either of these are plotted on the map.
Optical Surveillance System Integration
Several camera systems, whether from a close-in surveillance system, radar system or weapon system has been integrated into the visual display system of Zeno.
Weapon Designation
Fast and accurate weapon designation is possible by simply selecting a target and designating a weapon of choice. Integration was done with a 20mm machine gun, but other options are possible.
Rapid Decision-Making Features
A major drive of the Zeno system is to allow for rapid decision making. By combining several sensor systems (radar, optical and others), and displaying the relevant information on a small easily operated display, the effectors can be quickly controlled to address the threats detected.
Navigation System Integration
Navigation data is often available or can be integrated into the system. If available, the appropriate maps and environmental or geographical features can also be shown.
How It Works
Detected targets are plotted on a map, and an alarm is raised. Tracks are analysed and sophisticated track management is offered including threat analysis.
Multiple tracks can be handled simultaneously.
